March 5 Releases I can’t wait for

Yesterday had some awesome books being released that I can’t wait to get my hands on. I have been waiting for these books😍

I have read the other 3 books in this series and adored them. I can’t wait to see what they get up to in this next book.

The Belles was such a cool book and the details were so vivid. Looking for big thing with this book!

I found Cinda last year and she is one of my favorite writers. I read one while series by her and couldn’t wait to start another. Please give her a chance if you haven’t read her work!

I am behind on my Wrap Up, But hope to have one soon.

Are you looking forward to any of these?

Weekly Wrap Up

Rain, Rain its all I see! We have had rain here for so many days there is flooding. There are supposed to be 5-6 more inches coming. Looks like I shall be reading😊

Last week had 3 books:

I received an arc from Edelweiss and HarperCollins in exchange for my honest review.

I liked this book better than the first book. It had lots of action and I loved the HEA. Everyone grows up a lot. There is some violence in this book, but overall a pretty good read.

This was cute but maybe a little young for me. It was interesting to learn about a different culture and the romance was sweet. I was glad to see a somewhat happy ending

I received this ebook from Skyscape and Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.

Another great book by Rachel! Her stories and couples are always adorable and quirky. Mac and Slade were both running from their lives and ran right into each other. Slade was almost too big of a jerk to be redeemable at one point, but she did a great job of doing it. It wasn’t easy, but nothing worth it ever is. My only complaint is that it felt like maybe some pages were missing because some of the pages stopped mid sentence or word and the next page was something different.

So what are you reading?

Praying for rain to leave here.

See you soon

The Blood Prince: Review

I was honored to receive an ebook of The Blood Prince from the author in exchange for my honest review.

This book was very action packed. Emmy, the Queen, has become very withdrawn and dark since her return, because she wants to find her son. The majority of this book is spent with Cam and Felix searching for him. Julia changes and becomes very strong, while Claudia struggles to let go of her beliefs.

Cam finally falls in love with Felix and Julia falls in love with Lucas. Rufus is just as dreadful as he is in the other books😂

We find out more about the parents of the orphaned children and more and more of the Silvers become human.

This book is action packed from page 1 and has a great ending.

I hope you all would give it a try and if you have read any of the other books, please keep going. Josie creates a story unlike any other and really stands out from the crowd.

Last few Weeks Wrap Up

Hello lovelies! Looks like I am a little behind🙈 It has been super busy lately and only going to get busier the next few weeks. Everyone has been a little under the weather as well. I am ready for sunshine and warmer temps, but where I live you get snow, rain, record lows and record highs all in the same week😔

Oh well… without further ado

I received this ebook from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.

This book was so intriguing. I really enjoyed watching Elenora go from a maid to a lady, as she was meant to be. The Cinderella vibe along with the spy part of it is very neat. I like the 2 love interests, esp Ferdy and did not predict the twist. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

It does end in a cliffhanger

Omg!!! I finally made myself read this as I couldn’t bear for it to end. Sarah proves why she is a queen in this genre with this book. I have never had a book make me laugh, cry and want to throw up on the same page.

I adore them all and am so proud of them. I will miss them so. If you have not read this series, what are you waiting for??? I would love to know your thoughts on Chaol as it seems people are very mixed on feelings for him. I personally like him.

The final book in this series. It was not my favorite of the four but I definitely enjoyed it and Tucker was such a good guy. Looking forward to the spinoff Briar U.

I read this as part of a buddy read with Noly and Shelly.

The first half of the book was ok for me. It felt like something was missing but still enjoyable. It really picks up in the last half with a twist I didn’t see coming. It went really fast through some major plot points, but I look forward to book 2

Ok that’s all for this time! See you soon

Weekly Wrap Up

Hi friends! I’m back again this week with a few new books to add. I even had a DNF😱 Photo credits to Goodreads

Another great book by Elle. I was so glad to see Dean as more than just a player. There is a lot of romance in this book, so be ready for it😂

So…this is my DNF. I tried to get in to this but I just couldn’t. Not my type of story.

I finished this book and it was so good! I will have a longer review on it closer to release day. Keep an eye out for it next month.

I really have no idea how to review this one. First, let me say the cover is gorgeous. This is not a story that you see around everywhere. It is very unique in its telling. It was a fast read and definitely entertaining. I just felt confused all the way through it. You don’t get to know any of the characters enough to understand their intentions and it makes it hard to stay interested. You never get to really know any of them.

Have you read any of these? Let me know your opinion!

Weekly Wrap Up

Hi! Finally getting around to my wrap up. I have been reading quite a bit, so I have a few for you.

I received this from Netgalley and Random House in exchange for my honest review.

When I first started reading, Sophie was one of the first authors I read. I still remember going to the bookstore and picking up her book.

I was super excited to read this, since it’s been awhile. But honestly, I was disappointed. The romance was ok, but overall there was too much going on and I just became bored. The uptight friends, the selfish sister, the mean brother. Everyone treated her bad and she was such a pushover. Not my favorite

Thank you to Edelweiss and HarperCollins for this in exchange for my honest review.

This has a super cute romance from 2 totally opposite people. The dog rescue was a nice touch too. Trigger…it mentions cutting quite a bit. That bothered me. I get it was part of the story but i didn’t like that.

5 star read

Thank you to Balzer + Bray (HarperCollins) and Edelweiss for this in exchange for my honest review.

C.J. creates a masterpiece with this one. I didn’t even realize it was a Cinderella retelling of sorts until the end. I adored the slow enemies to love romance with Blue and Prince Kellen. I felt so sorry for all the losses they had had and how sweet Kellen was with her. A perfect fairytale ending.

I hate that this story is ending, but whew what a long book. It made me happy that for the most part that all got a HEA, but it did make me sad with what Simon had to give up. It was especially sad how it affects the others but I have hope it will all be ok.

5 star read

Ok…I adored The Royals Elle wrote with Jen as Erin Watt, so I wanted to give this a try. And… I loved it. Garrett was amazing and I loved the romance with Hannah. They are such a fun couple. I absolutely devoured this story from beginning to end.

After reading The Deal, I jumped right into The Mistake. I couldn’t wait to read Logan’s story. Although, it wasn’t as good as Garrett and Hannah’s story, I still really enjoyed it. Watching Logan be tamed was an enjoyable read.

Have you read any of these? What did you think? What have you been reading?

I Love Winter Tag

My great friend Noly tagged me in this post. If you don’t follow her all ready, she is the kindest, sweetest person!

It’s been a while since I have done one of these!

  • List at least 5 points that make you like winter (you can do more if you like, but if you have problems coming up with the five, try thinking of the little things, as always
  • Tag some other people (the number doesn’t matter)

Here Are Mine:

1. Christmas comes. It is my favorite holiday. I love everything that comes with Christmas!! The trees, the lights, the presents. I always wish for a Christmas with snow and I have hopes it will come one day.

2. Snow!! It is beautiful, but only if I don’t have to drive in it😔

3. Big fluffy blankets I can snuggle in

4. I got an adorable hat, glove and scarf set for Christmas I enjoy wearing.

5. Last but not least!!!

Boots and leggings😍 I love to wear boots and leggings. I miss them in the summer, but I do love my flip flops.

What are your favorite things about Winter?? I would love to hear them. Are any of mine on your list?

Cover Reveal: The Blood Prince

I am so excited to bring this cover reveal to you! Isn’t it stunning?

This series is amazing. It has vampires and zombies!! What more could you need?? And the author is super nice and is always so supportive of bloggers. I am excited to do my part to help support her.

I have already read and reviewed the other 2 books in this series. Feel free to check them out if you’d like!

Last Few Weeks Wrap Up and Happy New Years!!

Happy New Year Everyone!!

I can’t believe the holidays are over and it’s back to work. I always hate for this time to arrive. Although, I am looking forward to a new year. I am not the type for resolutions, so I don’t have any of those.

I am so fortunate to have this blog and all my friends on Twitter to chat with and I hope to continue to do so this year.

On to the Books!!

These are the books I have completed since we last chatted

City of Lost Souls

I really enjoyed this book! It is non stop and kept me flipping pages. I am so glad Jace is back to himself and I hope him and Clary get a little peace. Still loving Simon and I am glad everyone seems to have worked through their relationship issues, well except Magnus and Alec. And Sebastian is still out there!!

I received a copy of this from Netgalley and Montlake Romance in exchange for my honest review.

Omg!! Sariah Wilson creates the perfect love stories. This is my second book by her and I absolutely adore them both. Ashton wanted so bad to hate Evan but he broke through all her walls. I love the sport and family aspect of the story too. This was so much fun!

Origin and Opposition (Shadows is a bonus story in the last book)

I hate that this story has ended. I loved this cast of characters and especially Daemon😍 They all have to go through so much in an effort to save basically the whole world and it is at times heartbreaking, especially the losses. I am happy with the way it ended and loved Shadows for the chance to get to know Dawson and Bethany better. We learn so little about their past in the story, I am thrilled the author took time to give us this.

99 Percent Mine

I received this as a Goodreads giveaway winner and also shortly after, I was approved on Edelweiss by HarperCollins in exchange for my honest review.

I went in to this thinking it would be just like The Hating Game, which was one of my favorite reads of 2018, and was a little disappointed in the beginning.

This book is bolder, snarky and with some language. As the story went on, I found myself really enjoying it. The ending was nice. I could have done without the continuous remarks about how sexy the main character was(in graphic detail), but overall it was a fast, fun read.

Bring Me Home

I received this from the author in exchange for my honest review.

This book was a short, sweet romance set in College. It had a very happy ending and it think it was a good start for a debut author.

Now on to a new year! The last 2 books are counted on this year as I finished them today. So I am already 2 books down. Take that Goodreads!!

What are you reading?? Do you have any suggestions of books I need to read? I can’t believe it took me this long to find Cassandra Clare and Jennifer Armentrout!
