Weekly Wrap Up

Hi! Finally getting around to my wrap up. I have been reading quite a bit, so I have a few for you.

I received this from Netgalley and Random House in exchange for my honest review.

When I first started reading, Sophie was one of the first authors I read. I still remember going to the bookstore and picking up her book.

I was super excited to read this, since it’s been awhile. But honestly, I was disappointed. The romance was ok, but overall there was too much going on and I just became bored. The uptight friends, the selfish sister, the mean brother. Everyone treated her bad and she was such a pushover. Not my favorite

Thank you to Edelweiss and HarperCollins for this in exchange for my honest review.

This has a super cute romance from 2 totally opposite people. The dog rescue was a nice touch too. Trigger…it mentions cutting quite a bit. That bothered me. I get it was part of the story but i didn’t like that.

5 star read

Thank you to Balzer + Bray (HarperCollins) and Edelweiss for this in exchange for my honest review.

C.J. creates a masterpiece with this one. I didn’t even realize it was a Cinderella retelling of sorts until the end. I adored the slow enemies to love romance with Blue and Prince Kellen. I felt so sorry for all the losses they had had and how sweet Kellen was with her. A perfect fairytale ending.

I hate that this story is ending, but whew what a long book. It made me happy that for the most part that all got a HEA, but it did make me sad with what Simon had to give up. It was especially sad how it affects the others but I have hope it will all be ok.

Ok…I adored The Royals Elle wrote with Jen as Erin Watt, so I wanted to give this a try. And… I loved it. Garrett was amazing and I loved the romance with Hannah. They are such a fun couple. I absolutely devoured this story from beginning to end.

After reading The Deal, I jumped right into The Mistake. I couldn’t wait to read Logan’s story. Although, it wasn’t as good as Garrett and Hannah’s story, I still really enjoyed it. Watching Logan be tamed was an enjoyable read.

Have you read any of these? What did you think? What have you been reading?

  1. Sophie Kinsella used to be one of my favorite authors but I haven’t loved a new release of hers in awhile, it makes me sad. I’ll still give this one a go probably. Blood Spell sounds amazing, I just read The Shadow Queen for the first time so I’m excited to continue the series! OMG I LOOOOOVE THE OFF CAMPUS SERIES! The Deal is my favorite but I love The Mistake and The Score too. It’s such a good, rereadable series.

  2. I’ll have to try the Cinderella retelling! And, oh my goodness, I was so sad for Simon in that last book. I was kind of sad for him in every book though, lol.
